Screwed

Registered for 2 econ classes in a rush, now realize one of them will be very very difficult, plus other classes are filled... and i want to graduate next semester without destroying my GPA. Should I go for it? Hate these situations when your fate is in other people's hand.

Denture

It's the second time this morning that I realized I forget to put on the denture. The worst thing is, I was already on my way to classes, and I was pretty late. Oh well, I thought, since I don't need to talk in the first class, I'll just attend the class without my front teeth. Yesterday was the same. But I only realize that once I step out of my car in the school's parking lot. So I had to drive back home and get my denture because I had to meet up with someone hours later. Next time I should probably stick a note in my car that says "Do you remember to bring your teeth today?"

Got my presentation feedback today! Was quite nervous to read some of the comments but the first feedback from my instructor made my day! She wrote that I did well to understand and present a difficult paper. ^^ (was it just an encouragement or I really did well? Somehow I thought I was extremely nervous and possibly ruined the presentation LOL)

Weekend

No, I didn't survive the weekend. Did badly for both exams. I don't think I will do well in tomorrow's exam either. Probably need to reorganize and work harder next time. Arghh... people always say senior year should be easy... Tried out GT4, find it really hard to control the cars. Well people call the game driving simulator for a reason I guess.

Thursday

Unluckily got sore throat few days ago and today did a presentation that I think is not so good. Don't understand how I got nervous since I did great during practice. At the Q&A session, things got worst as people asked me stuff I never done research on so most of the time my answer was "I don't know/I'm not quite sure/I guess..."

Today there's one lecturer that just announced the date of the next exam. And so this morning I realize that I will have exam on this coming Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday + presentation on Friday. I'm definitely done for this weekend.

Went for a run this morning after a class. After running for a couple of yards, my stomach feels uneasy. So there goes my will to continue running. I realized that 2 hours before I had 2 slices of bread, and that ruined my exercise regime. Never had this problem during the days when the first thing I do in the day is running. So, next time, run before you eat!

Where's next?

Went to a library on the way back home to get these books. Am currently actively finding out the ideal place for this coming winter. I never knew that these books are really useful until I saw lonely travelers touring around holding travel guides. At first I find it quite amusing when people actually travel to places holding the book like it is a map. But after reading some of those lonely planet series I found it comes in handy especially when you travel to a country that does not use English!

Tuesdays

I don't like Tuesdays. 5 hours of lab with not-so-efficient lab mates is wasting my time. Will have to stay till 7pm today just to finish the lab. ><

Blah

Days ahead will be really packed with presentations, exams... etc. These days have been thinking about my future (what should i work as, what should i study after i grad) got some suggestions lately, will definitely consider that. But... what a long journey ahead!

Found some interesting places for my winter holiday!!! Can't wait to start planning for it!

Drained...

Mentally drained on Monday. Night classes always make me feel tired. Just had physics quiz tonight, was a tough one and thinking about those problems and numbers doesn't help the cause. I once rmb a tutor that i had in high school who told students not to look at physics hw at night, because "u will not able to sleep after looking at those complicated problems" LOL. Manage to at least partially understand the paper that i'm gonna present next week, will meet with prof on wed to fully understand the methods used. Other than that, I did nothing much today, but i had a good start for a healthy life!

Run!

It's been a while since i run, but I've not been exercising for a week now, so i figure it's a good way to run few times a week!

Sunday is always a bad day for me compared to Saturday, because I always find that I still have a lot of assignments and readings for Monday classes. Talk about time management.

25th Compromised Account

Went to watch some videos at liveleak this morning. Just a sec after i click on one video, chrome acted weird. So i close the browser. Then I tried to sign into gmail using chrome. So i key in my username and password. Then this message pop out below username and password "Required field must not be left blank". I knew something is not right with this webpage as usually if you entered wrong password for gmail, this message will only appear below the password, not the username. And so my initial thought was that chrome was infected by trojan, hence i use IE to log into my account and I did succeed. To be safe, I quickly added a secondary email into my account in which the new password will be sent to if something happens. Few minutes later, I tried to sign in using IE again, but this time, the password has already been changed by someone else. So i reset the password and use a more difficult combination.

Later on when i google "hacked gmail account" and I only realize that I might be a victim of phishing. The fake website was an attempt to get my username and password. That might just be a possibility. If i acted slower, I might have lost every account associated with google, including this blog.

Skype 4.1 is disastrous. Switching back to 3.8

24th

Woke up quite late today after rolling on the bed till 3am. Prob due to a 1.5 hrs nap in the evening or hot weather. Had a not-so-productive day today. Exams pilling up soon therefore feel a little stressed. Hope to have a productive weekend!

September 23

Had a 1.5 hrs nap today, due to lack of sleep last night. Realize that having too much time will not make me productive either, because I kept thinking that I will study later in the day. Also been thinking off adding some classic games/simulator such as GT4 to my ps2 collection, but was put off by the price. oh well, might just get a pre-owned one when I feel like it. Tonight will buy the plane ticket and settle one part of the coming winter trip. :-D
